  1. As in other ice cream recipes, the first step is to bring the half liter of milk to a boil and add the teaspoons of vanilla sugar or liquid vanilla.

  3. Now, in the second step, we are going to use a wooden spoon and, in a bowl, we will beat the sugar yolks, as well as the small spoonful of cornstarch, this, we will continue doing until the preparation starts to boil.

  4. At this point, we have to add half of the milk that we have let boil before, and we continue stirring; then we add the rest of the milk but this time over low heat.

  5. When you notice that the cream begins to thicken and sticks just a little to the spoon, stop the cooking process, as there is a risk of it cutting.

  6. The next step is very simple, but at the same time very important, and consists of allowing the mixture to cool completely.

  7. Once this is done, it is time to incorporate the crème fraîche and whip, which can be done either with an electric or manual whisk.

  8. Now, you must choose the appropriate containers, pour the mixture in each one of them and put it in the freezer. Although it will depend on your type of refrigerator, we must say that it needs approximately 2 hours to be ready.
